GROUP CLASSES: Awareness Through Movement®

 

During class, you will start by doing small, gentle movements, that will become more complex as the class progress, so that at the end of the session, you will have increase the quality of this movements and your overall repertoire of movements.

 

They are hundreds of different lessons, that explore the infinite possibilities of movement, from the very basics ones that we use in our everyday life, to more sophisticated or athletic ones. You will be amazed at the scope of variations you will come up with, some of them you forget you could do.

 

During class, your main focus is to let go of effort and to pay attention to everything that is happening in yourself: sensations, breathing, parts of yourself that are moving or not moving, thoughts or emotions that can emerge. Whether your perform the movement right or wrong is not important, as long as you are aware of what you are doing. Mistakes are welcome and useful as they are necessary to learning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

PRIVATE SESSION: Functional integration®

 

 

 

During a private session, the practitioner will use his touch and his voice to guide you through movements.

By moving you gently and bringing awareness of what's happening when you move,  it gives you the opportunity to sense yourself in a very in-habitual way and to discover the blank spots that are preventing you from moving freely. We don't know, what we don't know.

Whether you want to get rid of chronic pain or improve your movements skills, it will help you through the process.
